Maybe you're a parent, caregiver, recently single, or simply looking to get out of the house more often. As adults, meeting new people and coordinating plans can feel surprisingly difficult. Friends have different schedules, group texts go nowhere, and many social apps feel like work.Happier Hours is designed to make real-life plans simpler. Join small groups based on your preferences, vote on what sounds fun, and spend less time coordinating and more time actually going out.

Getting Started
What is Happier Hours?
Happier Hours is a coordination tool that helps you make real-life plans with new people — without the back and forth. You can join or create small-group outings based on your preferences.
Who is Happier Hours for?
Happier Hours is designed for adults 25 and older who want a simple way to get out, meet people, and make plans in real life.
Do I need to complete everything to get started?
No. You can move through onboarding quickly. Some information, like your profile photo and location, is required before joining a group.
Groups & Plans
How do groups work?
Groups are formed based on shared preferences like vibe, group size, and availability. Once a group is ready, you’ll get a notification and can join the plan.
How big are the groups?
Group size depends on your preferences, but groups are kept intentionally small to make things feel comfortable and easy to show up to.
What kinds of plans can I make?
Plans can include things like drinks, coffee, dinner, or activities at public venues. Your group selects the type of outing, and Happier Hours suggests a specific venue or activity based on shared preferences.
Do I have to plan everything myself?
No. Happier Hours handles the core planning for you. The app forms your group, suggests a venue or activity based on shared preferences, and sets the time so you can simply show up.
Does Happier Hours make reservations or contact venues?
No. Happier Hours does not make reservations, contact venues, or confirm availability. The service suggests a venue or activity based on group preferences and sets the plan, but any interaction with the venue is handled by group members outside of the app.
Can I join more than one group?
Yes. You can join or create plans as often as you want, depending on your availability.
What if I don’t want to join a group?
Happier Hours is built around small-group plans, so there is no initial 1–1 matching. After participating in a group outing, you may have the option to invite someone to connect 1–1.
Do you guarantee plans will happen?
No. Plans depend on user participation, and attendance is not guaranteed.
Preferences & Experience
How are groups created?
Groups are formed using your profile preferences, availability, and activity in the app. They are not based on compatibility guarantees.
Can I change my preferences later?
Yes. You can update your preferences anytime in your profile.
What if I don’t have a preference?
That’s fine — you can select “no preference,” and the app will keep things flexible.
Safety & Expectations
What kind of behavior is expected on Happier Hours?
Users are expected to be respectful, follow basic social boundaries, and engage in good faith when joining plans. Harassment, pressure, or disruptive behavior is not allowed.
Is Happier Hours a dating app?
No. Happier Hours is focused on making real-life plans. Some experiences may be date-oriented, but the app is not a matchmaking service.
Is everyone verified?
Phone number verification is required for account access and communication. Happier Hours does not perform identity verification or background checks.
Is it safe to meet people through the app?
Meeting new people always involves personal judgment. Happier Hours does not supervise outings or guarantee behavior, so users should take appropriate precautions.
Where do plans take place?
Plans are intended to take place at public venues. Moving to private locations is discouraged and done at your own risk.
Are plans monitored or supervised?
No. Happier Hours does not supervise or monitor in-person interactions. All plans are user-organized.
Do I have to attend if I join a plan?
You choose whether to attend, but users are expected to act in good faith when joining plans.
What happens if someone doesn’t show up?
Users may provide feedback about participation. This may be reviewed to support a more reliable experience over time.
What happens if someone breaks the rules?
We may review reports, feedback, or activity and take action where appropriate. This can include warnings, feature restrictions, or account removal.
Do you act on every report?
We review reports seriously, but we are not obligated to act on every report and may take action at our discretion.
Can people promote or sell things on the app?
No. Happier Hours is not a marketplace or advertising platform. Promotion, solicitation, or directing users to outside services for commercial purposes is not allowed.
Can people use the app for adult services or hookups?
No. Happier Hours is designed for social outings only. Accounts used primarily for sexual services, adult content, or similar activity may be removed.
Membership & Access
Do I need a membership to use Happier Hours?
Yes. A membership is required to create and join plans.
What does membership include?
Membership gives you access to Happier Hours features, including creating and joining plans. There are no limits on how many groups you can join, and there are no per-outing fees.
Membership is offered in different duration tiers (such as monthly or multi-month options).
Costs associated with venues or activities — such as food, drinks, entry fees, or tickets — are not included and are the responsibility of each user.
What happens if I cancel a plan?
You can cancel a plan if something comes up. Accounts include a limited number of cancellations, and availability may depend on timing and group status. This helps support a more reliable experience for everyone in the group.
Why are cancellations limited?
Group plans work best when people follow through. Limiting cancellations helps keep plans reliable for everyone.
Can I cancel my membership?
Yes. You can cancel at any time. Access will continue through the end of your current billing period.

What information is visible to other users?
Your public profile is limited to basic information like your first name, short bio (if added), age range, and general location. Sensitive details like your phone number and exact location are not shared.
Do you track my location?
Happier Hours uses general location (such as ZIP code or area) to help keep plans nearby. We do not track or share precise real-time location.
Do you read messages or chats?
Happier Hours does not actively monitor conversations. We may review messages in specific situations, such as when reports are submitted or to enforce policies.
How is my activity used?
Activity like group participation, attendance, and feedback may be used to operate the service and improve the experience. This may also inform moderation decisions where appropriate.
Do you sell my information?
No. Happier Hours does not sell or rent your personal information.
Who do you share my information with?
We may share information with service providers (such as hosting or payment processing) and when required by law. We do not share your information for advertising purposes.
Can I control my information?
Yes. You can update your profile, manage your participation, and block or report other users within the app.
What happens when I delete my account?
Your profile information is removed from the app. Some data may be retained for legal, safety, or fraud prevention purposes.
Using the App
Will I get notifications?
Notifications help you stay updated when your group is ready or plans are confirmed.
What if I don’t respond right away?
Plans may move forward without you depending on timing and group activity.
Can I leave a group or plan?
Yes. You can leave a group or adjust your plans within the app.
Troubleshooting
I’m not seeing any groups — why?
Group formation depends on availability, preferences, and nearby activity. Adjusting your preferences or availability may help.
I entered the wrong phone number — what should I do?
You can go back and update your number before completing verification.
How can I contact support?
If you have questions, issues with the app, or feedback, you can contact us at [email protected].
